Hadith Hotel Hosts Ministerial Delegations from Seven Countries at the International Islamic Forum

The First International Islamic Forum, “Islamic Civilisation: The Path of Peace, Tolerance, and Enlightenment,” was held in Uzbekistan from 7 to 11 July 2026, with programmes in Tashkent, Samarkand, and Termez. Organised by Uzbekistan’s Centre of Islamic Civilisation together with ICESCO, the forum brought together more than 300 scholars, academics, researchers, and senior officials to discuss the contribution of Islamic civilisation to peace, tolerance, and learning.
Hadith Hotel, EBI Resources’ hotel in Samarkand, was among the official accommodation for high-level delegates. Ministers recorded as staying at the hotel included those of Awqaf of Syria; Culture of Palestine; Information and Culture of Afghanistan; Islamic Affairs and Awqaf of the Maldives; Religious Affairs of Malaysia; Higher Education and Scientific Research of Egypt; and National Heritage and Culture of Pakistan.
The forum formed part of Uzbekistan’s effort to host dialogue on Islamic civilisation and to present the scholarly heritage of Central Asia. Hosting ministerial delegations at Hadith Hotel also marked Indonesian hospitality investment in Uzbekistan and the hotel’s role in a major international programme in Central Asia.
