EBI Resources Explores Cooperation with Tabung Haji Malaysia Across Four Hotels in Uzbekistan

EBI Resources visited the offices of Lembaga Tabung Haji Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur to explore cooperation in religious tourism. Representatives Agus Ruhiat and Iwel Sastra presented four hotels in Uzbekistan: Hadith Hotel, Hotel Kampoeng Indonesia, and Graha Nusantara at the Imam Bukhari Complex in Samarkand, and Mecca Hotel in Tashkent.

The visit was received by Tabung Haji chairman Tan Sri Abdul Rashid Hussain, who introduced the chairman of TH Travel & Services, Mohamed Izam bin Mohamed Yusof, and its CEO, YM Tengku Dato’ Badlishah Shukri bin Tengku Ibrahim. The discussion focused on travel and accommodation for Malaysian visitors to Uzbekistan.

Both sides considered Uzbekistan’s promotion of Islamic heritage destinations in Samarkand and Tashkent, and the possibility that EBI Resources hotels could serve Malaysian travellers — in particular pilgrims and guests visiting historic Islamic sites.
