Wahdah Islamiyah Chairman Visits EBI Resources on Investment and Religious Tourism in Uzbekistan

The chairman of Wahdah Islamiyah and head of ukhuwah at the Indonesian Ulema Council, Muhammad Zaitun Rasmin, visited the offices of EBI Resources. He was received by founder and CEO Erslan G. Ibrahim together with members of the board and the company’s advisors. The meeting was a courtesy call and an exchange of views on cooperation in investment and tourism.

Ustaz Zaitun Rasmin spoke of his visits to Hotel Kampoeng Indonesia and Hadith Hotel at the Imam Bukhari Complex in Samarkand, and to Mecca Hotel in Tashkent — properties that form part of EBI Resources’ investment in Uzbekistan. He commended their facilities and service, and the comfort they offer travellers, especially Indonesian visitors to Islamic heritage sites in Uzbekistan.

The two sides also discussed the growing interest among Indonesians in religious tourism in Uzbekistan, and the scope for collaboration among businesses, institutions, and communities to strengthen tourism and investment links between Indonesia and Uzbekistan. The meeting closed with a shared meal and a commitment to future cooperation.
